A glow stick can identify a bag after dark without keeping a flashlight tied up on that job. The PartySticks Green Glow Sticks Emergency Chem Lights (6", 12 Pack) Military Grade 12 Hour Bulk Tactical Light Sticks for Survival Gear, Camping, Power Outages… is a twelve-pack aimed at that sort of disposable lighting role.

Know What a Chemical Light Offers

These are single-use reaction lights. Once activated, they provide a glow without a charging cable or loose battery, but they aren't something you turn back off and save for tomorrow. I'd activate one because there is a specific need, rather than use the first stick just to check that the pack works.

Color: Green.
Size: Six inches.
Quantity: Twelve sticks.
Claimed duration: Twelve hours.

“Military Grade” Isn't a Complete Specification

That wording appears in the title, but I'd look for concrete information such as packaging, expiration date, storage conditions, and instructions. A broad toughness label doesn't tell us how bright the stick will be near the end of its advertised duration.

For tasks like reading small labels or treating a minor cut, I'd still use a suitable lamp. Glow sticks are more sensible as nearby markers than general work lighting.

A Dozen Means Planning Around Shelf Life

This pack could be split between household supplies and travel kits while the wrappers remain sealed. Keep an inventory so the oldest supplies are noticed, and dispose of used or damaged sticks according to the package guidance. I'd also keep them out of the hands of anyone likely to cut or open the chemical tube.

I haven't tested PartySticks brightness or longevity. The pack is worth comparing if you have a realistic use for twelve disposable markers. If you're simply missing a good flashlight, that's the purchase I'd make first.
